I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the experience at Kashi. I reserved a table for eight to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The initial interaction with the hostess was concerning; she scrutinized my family, counted us repeatedly, and took an excessive amount of time to seat us. Furthermore, we were arranged in an awkward seating pattern to accommodate others, despite the available space. The hostess’s behavior, especially after counting my party fifteen times, was unacceptable. During the meal, the chef made inappropriate attempts to touch my two-year-old child on three occasions. I tolerated this twice, but the third instance was entirely unacceptable, and we are considering appropriate actions in response. Upon leaving, I requested that a cake be held for us. After cutting it, we encountered a server who was extremely rude and raised his voice without cause. This incident occurred despite having already settled a $500 bill, which included an 18 percent gratuity. I personally tipped the chef and another Latino server, who was exceptional and the sole reason we did not leave sooner. The food was excellent, but the service was subpar, akin to what one might

Went there for lunch. We ordered chicken and steak and the chef gave our chicken to people who didn't even order chicken. The 2 kids meals next to us ordered steak. Somehow he gave them some of our chicken. Then said sorry but didn't give us more chicken to make up for our plate. He just brushed it off with a sorry. I paid additional for chicken and steak hibachi not for steak with 4 pieces of chicken. What a rip off! I would not recommend going to this place. They charge 18% tip and the waitress asked for more when they got $28 off my bill and put sushi in front of my child that I told them has a seafood allergy. That's not good service, they were careless and rushing to serve us with an attitude. We arrived at 1:40pm and they close at 3pm there was more than enough time to provide better service and pay attention to detail.

Let me tell you about my experience at Kashi Restaurant…because wow! We were almost seated all the way in the back by the kitchen — and I shut that down immediately. We ended up in a booth by the bar, which was much better. Our server, Felicia, was actually great. Attentive, kind, and helpful — especially since it was my son’s first time trying sushi. She recommended the “Sex on the Beach” roll ($19). Unfortunately, he didn’t like it (which happens, especially for a first-timer), so we asked if we could switch to the Angry Dragon Roll instead. Let me be very clear — we never said we wouldn’t pay for the first roll. Enter the manager, John. Not to check on us. Not to ask how things were going. Not to offer a solution. He came over just to say, “We can’t take it back because it’s too expensive,” dropped the plate back on the table, and walked away. No professionalism. No courtesy. No customer care. It wasn’t even about the $19 — it was about the complete lack of respect and basic manners. That interaction alone ruined the entire experience. My son literally asked me not to go off… so I didn’t. I am Coming from Hawaii, I was a bit skeptical about trying sushi elsewhere but this place exceeded my expectations. Easily one of the best sushi spots I’ve been to, and I travel the world. Felicia provided excellent customer service she was attentive, welcoming, and made the experience even better.

Hi! We just had a wonderful dinner of hibachi! Our chef King was very friendly and entertaining while cooking our meals to perfection. Our server Shery was friendly and very timely on service of our drinks and accompanying foods. She also kindly offered a replacement balloon to one of the small boys in our dinner group! Thank you for a delicious and delightful hibachi experience! We will be back!
